  • This website provides several activities that aid in teaching an immigration unit. Some activities on this website include a virtual tour of Ellis Island, an interactive tour of Ellis Island, and various real-life immigration stories.

  • This website provides several idea for any content area and grade level. There are several activities dedicated to multicultural topics such as immigration, assimilation, discrimination, as well as a wealth of resources about other countries.

  • This website contains a multitude of teaching resources such as videos, pictures, and games. There is a section on the website dedicated to learning about other countries and their cultures. Some countries and cultures that are represented on the website are Turkey, The Netherlands, India, Mongolia, and Vietnam.

  • This website is a great tool to inform children about current events. There is a section of the website entitled, "Around The World" where students are able to explore the current events of other countries. The countries are categorized by continent and students are able to click on whichever country they're interested in reading about. There is also a "Day in the Life" section where students can read about a typical day for a child in a specific country.
